Added 2023-10-31 03:17:46 +0000 UTCSo the poll came back with 58% wanting daily updates back, and 21% on either side for the other options with 25 respondents. Granted, that's 25/176 at the time so we also need to take that with a grain of salt and consider the silent majority.
That being said, Voidknight Ascension will be going back to daily chapter releases M-F until the end of the 2nd book. We'll assess where its popularity is at the end of each book and if it falls below a certain metric, we'll go back to bundling weekly.
If a does book get bundled, we'll do our best to include epub formats for easier reading.
This is how we'll do every new series that also goes on RR. Initially it will be daily (or 2 or 3 days a week, if that is the series' cadence). At the end of every book Sohmer and I will assess its popularity and decide what to do.
There's only one change, and this is pretty much the compromise that had to be made to allow this: all tiers below Gold Ascendant will be updated weekly instead of daily.
Anybody at Gold Ascendant or higher will receive daily updates like mentioned above. At the end of the week, Copper Adventurer & Silver Realmwalker tiers will be updated to be brought in line.
We'll be doing the same assessment on Copper Adventurer once our next series releases. It's the smallest tier by far, and doing an extra 30% work for a handful of people won't be feasible when we're hosting >3 series simultaneously.
