Announcement — Status Update, Posting Schedule

I've made an announcement on Royal Road. You can head to this link to go through most of it but here's a brief summary. I do not have a posting schedule anymore. Not for Royal Road at the very least. You can read the full version at the link above.

Now, here's the version for all my Patrons as well, and what this change means for all of you. 

First impact. For any tier below the highest one, the tier access will change whenever I upload a chapter. This is an uncertain thing now.

Second impact. Well, I'll increase my backlog, most probably. I've promised 10 chapters ahead at mu highest tier but am providing only 8 at the moment. Which was the first sign of "oh shit, I can't really write" that had happened. Losing backlog and going below the number of chapters I'd promised SUCKS, so that'll be the first thing I'll try to address. The next thing is going to be that, I'll be taking my time to edit the chapters. Make an outline, and actually present to you a story, that I'd be happy with, and not something I wrote in a rush 2 hours before posting time to meet a deadline. Again, more on this in the link above.

Third and perhaps the most important aspect. After this a bit over a month long period is over, and my one month vacation has finally begun. I will try and do a test run, to see if I can work as a full time author or not.

My goal is to write 100,000 words in a month, across my two stories. This will mean 5 chapters a week if not more, for Qi.

Now, this is not really a promise, because the time is not there yet, and I don't want to say something I'm not 100% sure I'll follow through. But this is a half-promise. A way to tell you that this is what I intend to do, and if I am able to, then I certainly will.

Now, anyone who feels like they do not want to pay $10 a month on uncertain uploads, or $5 a month and so on can unsub from the patreon. but for those that want to stick around, I still plan to upload at least once, and honestly? I'll probably upload twice or thrice a week for the $10 tier.

My goal is to get to 20 chapters ahead for the highest tier, before I do a complete revamp of the patreon and change the chapter rewards that I'm providing. The only issue is that I have a lot of exams and do not know the rate at which I'll be able to accomplish this. 

Lastly, even as my patreon is dropping, (and boy, it dropped a lot) I still want to make the jump to fulltime one day because... you guys made me think that maybe I can do it. It took me months to come to terms with this and gather the courage, but perhaps I can do this. I want to try. And I want to thank all of you, each and everyone here, for allowing me to take a step towards that. 

The day I went to my dad, showed him this story, and told him that I could pay for college on my own, I've genuinely never been prouder. This may sound corny, but writing, and posting and sharing, and all of your support has genuinely changed my life. So thank you, it means the world to me that you're here.
