2024-03-15 23:45:50 +0000 UTCI know Thriller Bark is one of the less popular arcs in the One Piece, but Usopp’s battle vs Perona is one of the best 1v1 battles in the series. Not just for Usopp but for the entire gang. His whole “I’m always afraid” characterization is not only hilarious, but it makes the reader realize just how brave Usopp has to be for each and every mission he goes on. I love it how he tries to disguise his fear with humor when he states he has to stay on the boat because of “Doctor’s Orders”, due to his condition of I’ll die if I go to that island disease. It is so rich. Gotta love Usopp.
