May Update

Happy merMay! I have some good news for this month, but I will start off by saying that the Early Access program on Tapas has been AMAZING for Sunkissed. Lots of new readers plus a little income boost for me ;) I’m also very close to being eligible for Webtoons’ revenue program (just need more monthly views) which would be a-m-a-z-i-n-g. Little steps towards someday quitting my day jobs LOL

Lots of same old same old stuff this month, but since there are quite a few new people in the community now I do want to say welcome! I make these updates the first Saturday of each month in addition to early access and bonus content. Hope you enjoy ☀️💋

Doubled up Monthly Goodies

By the time I ordered the belated March stickers it was almost May, so I’m just combining the goodie packs lol. If you have been a $15+ patron since March, you’ll receive a superhero au themed sticker pLUS a merMay themed sticker AND print! Newer patrons will just get the merMay goodies. Be sure to fill out this form so I have your address and contact information! 

All 5+ patrons receive some sort of physical goodie, so if you haven’t received a postcard/sticker/print (depending on what tier you are) please fill out that quick survey or reach out to me via brittanyborgese@gmail.com. I’m hoping to catch up on those this month!!

Comic Progress

As of now, up to page 70 is finished and pages 71-90 just need some polishing up. If the finished PDF isn’t posted this month, $15+ patrons can expect it next month :)

Up to page 99 is sketched and available for $10+ patrons. I’ll be working on new pages this month ofc. There are 135 pages in the first chapter, not including the prologue, and my goal is to get through them all this year!

And here’s my monthly apology for being bad at posting previews / other extras. I’ve said it before, but I’m just swamped with jobs right now so by the time I’m done making pages i forget to actually show you what’s going on behind-the-scenes 💦 

New Goal (almost) Reached!

First off, I want to thank everyone for helping me (almost) reach my next patreon goal!! Second, I want to flip you all off for making me work on yet another comic in my non-existent free time 😂😂

If you weren’t keeping tabs on my goals (which you should), then this is your heads up that I’ll be working on a NSFW comic to celebrate reaching $250/month. Please note it will take a VERY long time since I do a lot of my comic making at my jobs and, as mentioned before, this is not a very safe thing to do at work LOL. Also, it’ll most likely be a superhero au thing because I like to be self indulgent ;)

What’s up with me

No good news on the job hunt. I’m still a recreation assistant at two places, one full-time and one part-time. It is getting tiresome!! I do get to start applying within the companies soon and am just gonna keep trying really hard to escape this hell. All I want is more time to work on comics, take Miss B to the park, and snuggle with my Anna Banana. Wish me luck!!! I do appreciate your support since it DOES get me closer to escaping. I hope I’m able to use the time I have to make it worth your while ❤️
