March Update

So I have some exciting news! I’m making a 24 page comic for my illustration studio class. If all goes well, it will be finished by the end of April, at which point I’ll probably post the whole thing on Patreon. That’s also gonna be my comic-printing-trial, so hopefully I’ll be selling it shortly after I graduate in May!! But, it’ll definitely be available on Patreon first; I’m just debating if I want to post a few pages every week as they’re finished or everything at once. In the meantime, here's a quick preview!!

For anyone curious, it’s a light-hearted fantasy about a mermaid, a smoothie stand worker, and a great, wish-granting whale who lives at the bottom of the sea. Things to look forward to: lesbians doing that useless but-does-she-like-me-back thing, Buff Stephen, a strip tease scene, an almost kiss, and lots and lots of Sunkissed cameos. (I’m ashamed to say I set the story in Hawaii again just to realistically throw the trio into as many pages as possible. Also, this story came together in a week so lol not much time to do new research!!)

In addition to working on two comics at once (again…I thought I said I wasn’t going to do this LOL) I’m also participating in a local non-juried art show, so every day this month I’ll be drawing something for the theme “poses”. You can check those out on my tumblr/twitter!

That being said, I don’t foresee myself having much free time for drawing lmao. I still have some wallpapers planned and enough material for monthly sketchbooks. (PS! Feel free to send little requests for those PDFs.) So bear with me in these busy times. This month will be the worst, but we’ll survive lol

Progress Report! Chapter 2 is fully outlined (I don't even remember when that happened LMAO) so maybe that PDF will be available for $15 patrons this month?? Hard to say, because I'm also trying to get the groundwork finished for A Fish out of Water. Either way, pages will update as normal. No worries there!

I'm also close to hitting the next patreon goal, so just a heads up on what will happen with that: my plan is to send every patron a postcard with an exclusive print in the mail! I'm gonna create a poll this month to figure out what it should look like, then once the goal is reached/steady (pledges aren't edited/deleted before the end of the month) I'll get in contact with everyone to find out where I'm sending the postcards to. It's totally up to you whether you want to give me your address. Otherwise, I'll still be posting the print here! I just figured it's a fun way to test "shipping" :')
