Future Changes to Boyfriend Summon Tiers; New Mini Poll Starting in May

All prices in this post are listed in USD. I do not control Patreon's currency conversion equivalent price. This post refers to the Boyfriend Summon tier, Boyfriend Summon X2 tier, and Boyfriend Summon X3 tiers. This post does not refer to the Boyfriend Summon Endings tier.

I'm making some changes in future months to the Boyfriend Summon tiers ($20 Boyfriend Summon; $25 Boyfriend Summon X2; $30 Boyfriend Summon X3). I feel like I've been spending too much time a month on these tiers and the price is too low for the amount of time spent. Plus, I expect to make the Boyfriend Summon strategy guide/scene selection generator more detailed in the future (once it wins a poll which I expect will happen either this month or next month) which will also take more time to complete. There are different ways to deal with this: increase the price; decrease the amount of scenes; or decrease the average (word count) length for scenes to make the scenes shorter (and therefore less time consuming). I'm going with decreasing the amount of scenes.

As mentioned in April Tier Changes, I plan to decrease the tiers by one scene in May ($20 Boyfriend Summon will have 7 scenes; $25 Boyfriend Summon X2 will have 9 scenes; and $30 Boyfriend Summon will have 11 scenes).

I am announcing I will create a mini Boyfriend Summon update poll each month starting in late May.

Those in the Boyfriend Summon, Boyfriend Summon X2, and Boyfriend X3 tiers will each be able to nominate a(n already existing) boyfriend character to appear in the poll.

The poll will start on the third-last day of the month (29 on 31-days month, 28 on 30-days month, 27 in leap year February, 26 in non-leap year February) and will have results revealed on the third-earliest day (which is always the third) of the following month.

The winner of the poll will receive five additional scenes. All polling patrons can vote in the poll but only the three mentioned Boyfriend Summon tiers will be able to nominate characters.

The first Boyfriend Summon mini update poll will have results revealed on June 3 (with nominations starting in May and the actual poll being posted on May 29).

In June, I plan to further decrease the Boyfriend Summon tiers. $20 Boyfriend Summon tier will have 6 scenes. $25 Boyfriend Summon X2 will have 7 scenes. $30 Boyfriend Summon X3 will have 8 scenes.

If a patron in the $20 Boyfriend Summon tier wins the mini poll, then 6 scenes + 5 mini-poll scenes = 11 scenes total for a month.

If a patron in the $25 Boyfriend Summon X2 tier wins the mini poll, then 7 scenes + 5 mini-poll scenes = 12 scenes total for a month.

If a patron in the $30 Boyfriend Summon X3 tier wins the mini poll, then 8 scenes + 5 mini-poll scenes = 13 scenes total for a month.

Basically, if a Boyfriend Summon patron wins the mini poll, then the amount of scenes received total for a month will be larger than the amount of scenes currently set.

Other info about the polls: The patron in a Boyfriend Summon tier can either give me one boyfriend character name a month and that character will receive new scenes that month plus be put on the mini poll OR the patron can give me two boyfriend characters a month and request which character will automatically receive new scenes and which character will be put on the poll. The patron can nominate the same character multiple months in a row to put on the poll OR request a different character each month to be put on the poll. Multiple patrons can request the same character to be put on the poll, a character requested by multiple patrons will only take up one poll slot which will result in less characters being on a poll. If every single Boyfriend Summon tier patron selects the same character to be put on the poll, then that character will automatically win the poll and receive 5 new scenes. Also, if patrons drop from tiers and I somehow only have one patron total in all the Boyfriend Summon tiers, then that patron's choice will automatically receive the 5 new scenes because that will be the only choice in a poll. Note: If a patron drops from the tier, the former patron's choice will be put on the poll only for that paid month and can potentially win the poll to receive new scenes. There will be no carryover votes or carryover nominations, so after that paid month is up, a former patron won't be able to nominate again unless the patron rejoins a Boyfriend Summon tier.

I might create more Boyfriend Summon tiers in the future if anyone is interested. Probably a $5 increase per additional scene + an additional vote in polls. Obviously, any created Boyfriend Summon tier using this formula will be able to nominate a character to the Boyfriend Summon poll and will have two WIPs a week update + ability to vote in polls + strategy guides + scene selection generators. Example: $35 Boyfriend Summon X4 tier with 9 new scenes and four votes in polls; $40 Boyfriend Summon X5 tier with 10 new scenes and five votes in polls; etc..
