I’m 26 and have never had a serious bf/gf relationship (I feel like so many people see this as a caution sign). I’ve had situationships that hurt just as bad as I imagine a breakup would though 🫡 which has also led to fear of trust / vulnerability. I also think I’m just so comfortable being alone that I just don’t look for anything anymore and it’s been so long so it’s 10x scarier to even imagine. I get you Alyssa I know you’ve mentioned your struggles with confidence and I relate I think that also plays a major part in being weary of trusting someone from the get go. I think the more confident you feel in yourself and the more you like yourself, the less scary it will be to go in with the mindset of giving someone a chance not to “break the plate”.
