IT'S HERE!! 💜

I really wanted to tell their story after the quest!! I felt like there was so much untold between these two, with Moze being unable to take action and save Jiaoqiu before it was (almost) too late and Jiaoqiu being forced to take extreme choices, alone among enemies... what I missed the most is seeing a satisfying rescue ngl, that black screen with just a couple lines was disappointing - not even for a shipper but only considering the seriousness of those events. Even before that I kept going "who cares about Yanqing heroic spirit, WHERE IS MY FOX?" 😭

So happy they reunited at the end （づ￣3￣）づ╭❤️～
I'd love to see more of them (and more Aventurine/Ratio, I'm starting to miss them!!)

This time a thanks for your patience is really due. I've been promising this comic for 2 months and it feels like I've been working on this for ages, even. The draft for it was dated Oct 3rd, and I've started sketching the pages in the middle of the month with the idea of bringing it with the Kinktober "oral fixation" prompt, only to be later being dragged away by other Kinktober ideas (which I can't say I regret)∽

Now that it's done, it feels weird because I'm happy with the outcome but I wish I had enjoyed the process more! First I wasn't in the right mental place to draw this kind of hurt/comfort, later my life has been more intense (with my birthday, partner's birthday, a beloved uncle being back for 2 weeks from overseas...) so I've had less time for art and I found it harder to connect with the story I was telling. I've missed sitting down knowing I can dedicate more time to crafting well-finished artworks - I also know my time management sucks so there's work I have to do on that, to be able to focus and dedicate myself to art despite the irl errands! Art taught me a lot over the years, so I'm confident I'll be able to learn this, too (´▽`ʃ♡ƪ)
