[ Mozeqiu ] Comic preview

UPDATE #1 Added: 3 colored pages + one more preview!

Setting the colors for this comic was more fun than I thought! I experimented a bit to achieve the atmosphere I had in mind and it worked, I'm quite happy with the outcome!! What I had in mind were: few light, gentle shadows, dark setting but soft colors...
I wanted it to look like it's night and I think that's where I failed cause it looks like a dark room during day time but it doesn't impact the plot so it's ok! I think the issue is that colors are too warm, night colors are more blue and I always struggle with cold tones... most of my drawings with cold colors are me slapping an uncountable amoutn of Adjustments on the warm flat colors to change the amount of blue/cyan in them 😂 I'll keep trying and I'll keep growing!!
Back on the comic - the rest I did was maintaining low contrast between lights and shadows in order to create the soft effect and made sure to only use soft brushes! I had to force myself not to sculpt muscles and faces so that it shadows stayed rounder and softer ("soft" truly was my keyword) - I really wanted to bring the vibes between the characters in the atmoshpere around them 💜

My goal is posting the full comic next Friday!! I'll keep you updated (´▽`ʃ♡ƪ)

I'm happyyy I'm finally working on this comic after months of mulling over it. The main reason why I postponed the making of this for so long is that I wasn't in the right mental place to draw those feels 🥲 it's hurt-comfort but nothing traumatic (fully focused on the comfort) but I wasn't able to connect with the characters... The second reason is that I didn't know how to slide to the horny part without drawing 10 pages exclusively of Moze kissing away all of Jiao's tears and fears, pain and insecurities 😭💜 (he still does that a lot, with peen kisses too∼)
