New Heart of Stone update - this marks 20 comic pages yayyy!
I've enjoyed drawing this SO MUCH!! It took me some time to figure out the panels for the action scene and I've been pondering them for too long before finally deciding to dive in and just draw (trust the process) - once I started, I didn't stop and completed all these 6 pages in TWO DAYS. Pretty crazy fghjk what's even crazier is that I like the outcome? A lot??
Heart of Stone is always among my favorite things to draw, the enthusiasm definitely plays a part in the outcome! Another factor is that it gives me a chance to experiment outside of my comfort zone and learn a lot - the freedom in this makes me feel great!

I haven't considered rewriting the comic as a fic, but if I came up with a story development too articulated/long to be drawn I'd rather have it written than cut! I'm keeping it as an option to allow me complete freedom with the story development 💜

AHEM On Neuvillette appearance I didn't think thoroughly until when I had to draw him and I was like... do I really want him to get drenched? Would it be in character? And considering the evolution of my Neuvi in this AU I went "no he would stay clean and perfect" but Zhongli definitely has to get wet for uuuh /reasons/ 👉👈 partly because it's a consequence he had to face because he used magic so he remembers not to do it again, partly because eeeeh wet see-through shirt makes me horny dfghjkl
