First Release! MONOLIGHTER PreAlpha v0.1c

Hey folks! Welcome to our brand spanking new patreon! There's all sorts of information to go through on the main page for those curious, but to cut things short - we're making an Adult Cyberpunk Sidescroller! The gameplay revolves around stealth, hacking, and other cyberpunk-inspired mechanics.

To kick off the release, we've made a short tech demo to show off the kind of feel we're going for - there's about 9 CGs in total, a number we plan on either meeting or beating each month. There's not much to look at just yet, but we hope it carries across the type of game we want to make. Check it out!

Instructions:

Space = Interact/Talk Too
Left/Right = Move
Up/Down = Climb/Drop
Look for the neon arrow signs to tell in which directions you can climb and in which you can drop. If you have trouble figuring out how to get back to the top of the map, you can climb up the side of the rail car (you'll find the up pointing neon arrow at the bottom corner of it)
Colored text is important, pay attention to it!

For those who have already taken a look at it, we've got an array of things planned for the next release for a more polished demo, including:

The player's first official 'Mission', complete with an enemy, puzzle, and minigame
Cleaner animations for the main character
Hubworld interiors & corresponding NPCs
More fleshed-out dialogue
Proper filter effects (Rain, Distance blur, light flickering, etc)
Music, SFX & other ambient sounds
More CGs

So do look forward to these changes! We'll be posting updates as we go, showing off current as well as upcoming art assets and other interesting things. We hope you'll stick around as we plant our heads to our desks and continue to work!
