Very few reactors watch real classic Christmas films so this was a treat. Karolyn Grimes played the young daughter in this and was also Zuzu in Its a Wonderful Life. She was asked who was her favorite actor she worked with and she said Cary Grant. She has fond memories of Grant practicing ice skating in an ice rink created by the studio for this film, and every day Grant would say, “Come on, Karolyn, let’s skate”. He found a sled and rope and she sat on the sled while he pulled her round and round the rink. She said he was very kind and fatherly towards her.
