Space robots in my universe serve more purposes than just space-- they also help regulate air travel, the media, and usually work high-end jobs that typically involve maintenance or construction of potentially lethal or incredibly advanced technology.
*How many "Major Space Robots" are there?
Three largely known ones (Divinity, Phoenix, and Jay), though there could be more, most likely discontinued, disassembled/scrapped, never fully finished, or existing amongst society. "Majors" are different than "minors"/standards. Standard space robots could be from space-fairing robots/robots meant for space to just basic citizens that were designed for space travel or jobs. Standard ones are common. Major ones are meant for leadership. They are meant to be some of the most intelligent beings on the planet, and are meant to help protect society. Phoenix is a prototype *technically*. He was the first of the three. He was simply built to help monitor media and control it if necessary (Say, in the case of a catastrophic event). After that, Project J was launched thus making Jay next in production after scientists realized how well Project PHOENIX went.
Jay was created along with a satellite that he could connect his systems to, which was immediately launched before his boot. Once booted, Jay helped keep the skies clean and safe, along with the world. He also later became a doctor then a physicist.
Divinity was a new prototype created from an impossible idea. One of the ideas are classified, however the primary goal of the Divinity Project was to make a machine capable of solving all of the world's problems. When created and booted, Divinity became the most intelligent being on the planet and down the road in his life, became the president and created a government system called Infinity, where all three space robots helped lead in their own respected sections.
*Infinity is not just a space program, but is an entire agency. It has many different wings, programs, divisions, etc. It was formed to solve EVERY world problem.
*Why do Major Space Robots look so similar?
Major Space Robots were all based on the same model. They are pretty much different versions of themselves.
