Ruaridh Mollica to Portray Tommy Maximoff in Marvel’s Vision Series

Marvel Studios continues its expansion of the Maximoff family storyline in the MCU. Following the reintroduction of Billy Maximoff (a.k.a. Wiccan) in the upcoming Disney+ series Agatha All Along, Tommy Maximoff is now set to make his return in Marvel's Vision series.

I can exclusively confirm that Scottish actor and writer Ruaridh Mollica, originally announced as playing a character named Tucker, is in fact portraying Tommy Maximoff, also known as Speed—Wanda and Vision’s son, and Billy’s twin.

In Agatha All Along, Billy’s soul is shown to inhabit the body of William Kaplan, a teenager who tragically dies in a car accident shortly after his bar mitzvah. Similarly, Tommy’s soul will inhabit the body of Tucker, with his true origins as a Maximoff being revealed as the series unfolds.

Mollica, who was nominated for a British Independent Film Award for his breakout role in the 2024 Sundance favorite Sebastian, brings both acting and writing chops to the role.

Vision is helmed by Terry Matalas, acclaimed for his work on Seasons 2 and 3 of Star Trek: Picard. The series features Paul Bettany reprising his role as Vision, alongside James Spader as Ultron, T'Nia Miller as Jocasta, Todd Stashwick as a relentless assassin, and Faran Tahir returning as Raza, the leader of the Ten Rings who first appeared in Iron Man (2008).

Production is currently underway, with the series expected to premiere in 2026.
