MARVEL UPDATES

So about the tv side of Marvel. Almost everything that has been in active development will still get made as a limitd series; Wonder Man and Vision Quest. Nova was supposed to be a limited series but has been shelved for now. It will most likely be made into a movie instead. They are in disscussion on how to handle The Children's Crusade. If to make it a movie or a limited series or just the story for the Young Avengers movie (yes it will be a movie).

Ms. Marvel, Moon Knight and She-Hulk are likely to return for a longer season 2

Next Feige is discussing which character/s could turn a long running series as he does 't want to do limited anymore. Elsa Bloodstone is one option (they're making a project with her either as a show or a film), Alpha Flight, Runaways, members of the X-Men, Ghost Rider, Jessica Jones, Punisher and more grounded characters are all in the cards.

As for the Specials most of them are shelved for now becaue no one saw the last two specials. The Witches' Road "Special" will be handled differently in a way that I can't get into until later on.

I said before that What If would end in season 3 but theybare discussing a possible season 4 that will be made same time as S3. Either way, 3 or 4 will be the last season for the show.

As for the movie side. They are looking for a director/s for the two Avengers films. Sam Raimi and Aaron Moorhead & Justin Benson are in the mix for that. They haven't decided what to do with Majors yet and are waiting for his trial. If he's found guilty they will recast. Will not get rid of Kang. Will at best add Doom as a co-villain.

With Destin Daniel Cretton off Kang Dynasty he will start developing Shang-Chi 2 right away, finding a screenwriter and they want to start shooting it in 2024-2025.

Marvel decided to have Deadpool 3 as the only theatrical release next year because they have a lot of confidence in the film and that it will deliever at the box office and with the critics and will make people care about the MCU again. DP3 is one of the most important movies for this Saga the one that will set the ground for Secret Wars. Kang is not in the movie but it establishes what the TVA wants and the planned endgame for this Saga.

The plan is for Spider-Man 4, Shang-Chi 2 and in some ways Fantastic Four to be the other stepping stones for Secret Wars.

Eternals 2, Thor 5, Doctor Strange 3 and Black Panther 3 are in early development. No plans for Ant-Man 4.
