Logline: It's 1987 and a hot shot naval aviator is recruited for a top-secret suNeillance mission into Soviet airspace. When he is forced to eject over the Russian wilderness, injured and under duress, he is taken in by a mysterious bearded figure. Unsure whether his burly Russian savior is
friend or foe, the pilot must trust him if he wants any chance to make it out alive. As the politics of the Cold-War loom heavy, these two reluctant travel companions make their way across the country looking for a path to safety and way out from behind the iron curtain. The tension and emotional stakes are real, but so are the laughs.

Characters:

LT. TROY "APACHE" BRENNAN: A brave top gun who's sent to spy on Russia and their production of nukes (in 1987), His plane is shot down and he winds up crash landing and escaping with a parachute, He's saved by NICK, ex KGB officer who dreams of going to the US. Attached Ryan Reynolds

NIKOLAI: A big, bearded man that is ex-KGB. He really wants to go to the us (he loves 'Top Gun" the movie) with his adult daughter, JULIA. Nick saves Troy and they wind up becoming good friends as they battle against the enemy. In Discussion Kenneth Branagh

JULIA: A tough freedom fighter. She is the lesbian daughter of Nick.
