FANTASTIC FOUR UPDATE
Added 2023-10-27 12:37:18 +0000 UTCSo according to a newly released grid from yesterday, no actor signed on the project yet. Everything still in the OFFERS stage. But they added a few new roles.
We have the main 4 and the current offer for each. And no one will sign until the end of the actors strike. Vanessa Kirby for Sue Storm, Jake Gyllenhaal for Reed (Grid says that if Gyllenhaal will pass on the offer they will offer it to a POC next), Joseph Quinn for Johnny Storm, Ebon Moss-Bachrach for The Thing.
Then we have the two main villains. One is MALE, Latino, 40s-60s. Current offer for Antonio Banderas. That role is believed to be Galactus. Then there's a female villain bellieved to be the Herald of Galactus. 20s-30s.
We have a new female role, doesn't say who. Supporting. 20s-40s.
A male, anywhere from 30s-60s. Cameo. Grid says he will play a bigger role in future projects.
Also to be clear they are not currently casting the new roles until after the strike ends. They are just doing prep and tell the agents who they should look for when it's done.
