Logline: In the 14th Century, members of a monastery combat the Plague and people that seem to become possessed -- and dangerous.

Characters:

ADAM: A pensive old soul despite his young age. scar through his eyebrow. He and WILLIAM (another young monk) are in love. When the Plague comes to their monastery - as well as people that
seems possessed - Adam tries his best to survive and protect William.

WILLIAM: Impish and pale with white-blond hair. He and Adam are monks and in love with each other.

SIMON: Brooding with broad shoulders, He and ALICE grew up together and are now in love.

NICCOLO: A noble monk with dark features. Intense and somewhat unconventional.

ALICE: A midwife, she and Simon grew up together. She is a widow and a young mother.

FATHER HENRY: Frail and solemn, his right eye is glazed by a cataract he winds up.

DARBY: The young son of Alice.

FELIX: Boyish and handsome revenant. Blind. Seems to become a possessed revenant.
