We are currently casting several series regulars in our animated pilot for Disney Channels, Neon Galaxy.

The tone of this show is very real/natural performances. Not looking for cartoony or put-on voices. *MUST BE ABLE TO SING.

 [ AMBER ]
12-14 year old sounding female (open to kids, teens & adults). Afro-Latine. The responsible little sister and brains of the operation, who shows up for everyone except herself. A sensible preteen hanging out with drama-loving teens – when her bandmates get too ridiculous she’s always ready to (bluntly) ground them in reality.

[ CORAL ]
15-18 year old sounding female (teens/adults only). Afro-Latine. Equal parts talent and ambition, Coral leads Neon Galaxy. She’s charismatic but with a fragile interior only a few people know. Her ambition is tied to a chronic illness that makes her reliant on others, and she really wants to prove her independence. A big dreamer with a big personality.

[ BLU ]
15-18 year old sounding female (teens/adults only). Asian-American. A street-smart cynic who knows everything about the galaxy… except how to open up to people. A cool exterior with a vulnerable interior.

[ INDIGO ]
15-18 year old sounding transgender-girl (teens/adults only). Black and/or Latine. An incurable optimist, whose naiveté gets her into trouble but sweetness and creativity always get her out. Indigo is the costume and set designer for the band. She’s bubbly, goofy, and the emotional heart of the group who can cheer anyone up with her sparkling personality.

[ ARES ]
16-20 year old sounding male (teens/adults only). Open ethnicity. The lead singer of F8, Neon Galaxy’s biggest competition (for now)! He’s confident, competitive, dramatic, and petty. He’s a villain who will eventually find his softer side and become a love interest for Coral.

Storyline: Set in futuristic outer space, two small-town sisters Coral and Amber leave their home on a tiny asteroid and join forces with new friends to form the solar systems newest girl group, Neon Galaxy! Together the band pursues their dreams of making music and finding fame.

Neon Galaxy is all about finding yourself, sibling dynamics, finding friendship in a chaotic world, and chasing big dreams.
