They have a green lit half hour series, eight episode order, that they need a lead female writer on. Looking to start by end of July. A young woman (14-16 years old) is on a road trip mission with her brother following the funeral of their father. There will be an Al in it as well. The three of them will be thrown into weird, interesting and fun circumstances that will build the sibling relationship. Tonal comp- Avatar The Last Airbender. In Avatar, even though the kids were almost dying in every episode, it was still super fun and goofy. There was also a lot of emotional depth. They are looking for that same type of thing here, real stakes but with a lot of fun. Even though the central protagonist is 14, this is not a kids show. But the head writer still needs to be able to write in the voice of a 14 year old. They need a female writer who is savy and can take on this whole story on her own. They are open to someone younger if the voice is perfect but still want some experience because this will be a very big story they will be handing on their own. They are open to a writing team as well (so if there is a male on the writing team that is okay, but there needs to be a female voice).
