Logline: Based an the critically acclaimed video game, the story takes place twenty years after modern civilization has been destrayed. Joel, a
hardened survivor, is hired to smuggle Elie, a 14-year-old girl, out of an oppressive quarantine zone. What starts as a small job soon
becomes a brutal, heartbreaking journey, as they both must traverse across the U.S. and depend on each other for survival

operates as a black market smuggler, dealing in contraband, taking numerous de-humanizing jobs over the years to survive in this new post-pandemic world. Joel's conscience slowty dwindles away as he shuts down his emotions to cope to his new life. (1 year deal with a few episodes in season 2 to start that season)
