LOGLINE: A Live Action version of the hit series Fairly OddParents, set in Dimmsdale. 


SEEKING:

[ VIVIAN ]
Can play 13 years old, can portray female. An old soul, Vivian dreams of a quiet life on a farm. Instead, her life has been uprooted by her father, TY, when they suddenly move to the loud and proud town of Dimmsdale. Viv is usually the smartest and most level-headed person in the room, which can be a burden.  As a fish out of water in this vividly odd town, Viv is forced to adjust to a new normal, which comes with an unpredictable new family, including her new stepbrother, ROY. However, ROY’s genuine excitement to have Viv as his first sibling makes her feel like she could actually call this place home. Comedy skills a must. Dancing skills are a plus, but not required. SERIES REGULAR, LEAD.

[ ROY ]
Can play 13 years old, can portray male. Equally as confident as he is kindhearted, Roy is an eternal optimist with the best intentions. Outwardly, Roy exudes the qualities of a quintessential jock: confident, handsome, insanely talented at sports. A group of students chant his name on a daily basis, often for no reason beyond Roy being Roy. Despite his accolades, Roy’s spirit is pure and like a ray of sunshine.  He is generous, thoughtful, enthusiastic and has a heart of gold. When VIVIAN moves to town, he is thrilled to welcome her and determined to show her that she, like him, is going to absolutely love living in Dimmsdale. Comedy Skills a must. [ TY ]
Can play late 30s/early 40s, can portray male. Ty is exceptionally handsome and well put together. Ty fits perfectly into the unapologetic and proud town of Dimmsdale. He can be overly confident and somewhat oblivious, but generally means well. After uprooting his daughter, VIVIAN, he jets off to Dimmsdale to open a ballroom dance studio and merge families with his high school sweetheart, RACHEL. As an expert ballroom dancer, he lives to dance and loves the whimsy and excitement of the life in Dimmsdale. Comedy Skills a must. Dance experience required. SERIES REGULAR.

[ RACHEL ]
Can play late 30s/early 40s, can portray female. Born and raised in Dimmsdale, Rachel is incredibly beautiful, confident, loud, and a bit of a diva. She is the proud mom of her talented son, ROY. Reunited with her high school sweetheart, TY, she eagerly welcomes both TY and VIV into her home and family. Thrilled to be opening a ballroom dance studio with TY, Rachel literally dances through life without a care in the world. Comedy Skills a Must. Dance experience required. SERIES REGULAR.

[ ZINA ]
Can play 13 years old, can portray female. Zina is a student at Dimmsdale Middle School and is ROY’s #1 fan. She is confidently zany and marches to the beat of her own drum. She is smart, yet easily distracted. Scatterbrained at times, Zina can change topics quickly, especially if the topic involves ROY. If ROY is near, Zina can easily get "lost in ROY" and become oblivious to everything else.  She loves photography, and you guessed it, taking pictures of ROY. When VIVIAN moves to town, Zina is genuinely excited to make a new friend. The fact that her new friend happens to be ROY’s new sister is just a bonus. SERIES REGULAR, 10/13, LOCAL LA HIRE.
