Seeking actors who can portray African-American or bi-racial to play the real life Colin Kaepernick at age 14-18. COLIN is the lead role in a limited series that follows Colin Kaepernick’s life from a young 14-15 year old promising athlete skilled in a multitude of sports to his 18 year old self, fighting passionately to become a Quarterback. An intimate story of his home life, the parents who raised him, the journey to becoming the Colin Kaepernick we know, a superstar athlete with unflappable beliefs. Tall and skinny in his youth, more Olive Oyl than Brutus in comparison to his competition, COLIN is constantly trying to prove himself to his coaches and teammates. On and off the field, he struggles with his racial identity and his place in the world especially when being a football player is not a given. LEAD ROLE (approx. 6 episodes) Ideally looking for actors with a strong resemblance to the real life Colin Kaepernick and with athletic skills in baseball, football or basketball.
