Italian, tall, broad-shouldered, massive man with large, expressive eyes and sensitive hands. He is selfish, self-involved, but a boy-genius. He is the famous writer/ director of Variety Lights (1950), The White Sheik (1952), I Vitelloni (1953), La Strada (1954), Il Bidone (1955), and Nights of Cabiria (1957).

A Los Angeles veterinarian. She is beautiful and organic. She rides the bus as a sort of protest against of the vast amounts of pollution produced by automobiles.

Fellini's Italian-born wife. She is perky gamine with a quick, bright smile of a clown. An actress, she has appeared in four of Fellini's movies. She is very jealous if his flirtations with other women and finally snaps. She goes off on her own and winds up befriending RICKY NELSON before finding her way back to her husband at the Academy Awards ceremony.
