Logline: It's a taut contained thriller about a Princess that thinks she is marrying a prince only to be thrown into a pit where she is being
sacrificed to a dragon.

Lead Female (20 - 30)
Anxiously awaiting her wedding to Prince Henry and feeling pressure from her Father, who needs the money her marriage will bring, to be a good, obedient wife. After marrying Henry, Elodie realizes she's been tricked into becoming a sacrificial offering for a cruel dragon who intends to eat her. Elodie must fight her way out of the dragon's lair and eventually saves herself by slaying the Dragon.

Lead Female (40 - 50)
VO ROLE. "30 feet long. Eyes of ink black. Scales of venom green. Teeth like spear heads, silhouetted by an inferno that echoes up her esophagus from the depths of her dark soul." Devours the sacrificial offerings of newly wedded princesses from a nearby village in hopes that it will help her own eggs to hatch. The Dragon enjoys tormenting the young women who fall into her trap, but is taken aback by Elodie's will to survive, underestimating her determination. Elodie eventually manages to slay the dragon, telling her she's not like other princesses.

[FATHER]
Supporting Male (50 - 60)
"A minor noble who has always depended on the kindness of strangers. Non-strangers know him too well." Elodie's Father who is thrilled she's made such a good match with Prince Henry because their kingdom is in desperate need of money. Elodie is horrified when she realizes her Father knew she would be given to the dragon, but sent her anyways. When her Father comes to rescue her and is captured by the Dragon, Elodie refuses to risk her own safety to help him.

[PRINCE HENRY]
Supporting Male (20 - 30)
"Handsome. Strapping. Perfect." Elodie's betrothed husband who upon their first meeting, appears perfect in every way. After their wedding, Prince Henry encourages Elodie to trust her and manipulates her into becoming a sacrificial offering to the dragon. When Elodie returns after slaying the dragon herself, she realizes Prince Henry is on the cusp of marrying another innocent young woman and stops him.

[THE KING]
Cameo Male (60 - 70)
Prince Henry's father who appears to be welcoming Elodie to their family, secretly eager to get the sacrificial offering to the dragon over with. He and his family are amazed when Elodie returns upon slaying the dragon.

[ANN]
Cameo Female (40 - 50)
"An older woman cut from stiff cloth." Elodie's nursemaid who helps her get ready for her wedding ceremony to Prince Henry. Ann helps Elodie keep her first marriage and miscarriage a secret.
