Cho CG preview and announcement.

Hello everyone!
Here is a preview of the new Cho CG we're going to add to the game with version 1.39!
The CG scenes will consist of a mix of still images and full animation, with the latter being used for things like loops and “scene finales”. Scenes will also include expressions to match the dialogue and mood. Of course the in-game version won't feature a hotdog either. This is just to have a "SFW" preview to share with you all.
We want to clarify our change of plans for the CG and how it affects the next couple of game updates.
First off, we’ve taken the difficult decision to not include Cho’s progression in 1.38.
This will allow us to release an update sooner, but with a smaller scope than we had planned. However, the 1.38 update will still contain many improvements, most notably Hermione’s overhaul to the new wardrobe system, Cho’s new face, new Quidditch areas and more, so we think there is enough to make a worthwhile update.
The parts that will be pushed to 1.39 are the Slytherin match and favours leading up to the Gryffindor match. We feel like these events would be less rewarding without the CG, and the player should be able to get the whole experience on their first playthrough.
All that said, we’re excited about where we’re headed with the new CG and we hope you are too. Thank you very much for your patience and continued support!

2020-03-19 02:59:29 +0000 UTCThe writing for the events within this CG is done, we can't say right now which part of the process is going to be the one that takes more time since this is the first CG we're doing with our new artist. That said with the limited amount of time he has on the weekends he's fast and easy to work with and we'll do our best to update people on Discord and such on the progress. We might show some previews along the way but it has to be as long as no focus is sidetracked to produce those previews.

2020-03-14 15:43:15 +0000 UTCPlan is to release 1.38 this month. Unless we come across any game breaking bugs last minute we're making good headway of reaching that goal. A lot of code has been reworked for this update so a lot of time goes towards testing to make sure everything works.

The short version is done right now and we're waiting for the long version. She will be featured in Cho's continued Quidditch path although that is in the content that got pushed forward.
