The live version sounds different than the studio version, which you probably heard before. It has a different tempo, and they didn't use a bass during live performances, but they did use a bass for the studio recordings.

2025-01-28 03:44:51 +0000 UTCJames asked about Jelly and Jam in the US in another video I watched on my TV earlier today, that I can't seem to find at the moment so I am posting here: Let me start by saying I don't know exactly what UK jam looks like, now down to the description: US Jam, is a spread commonly used on toast, biscuits, etc. made up of fruit including bits of fruit and seeds cooked with pectin and sugar to make a sticky spread. US Jelly, is much like Jam, but is more translucent, is made from the fruit juice, but no chunks or fruit or seed. It is typically made by cooking down the fruit and straining it through a cloth before adding sugar and pectin US Preserves, these are an even thicker and chunkier form of Jam there are probably some standards on when you can call something Jam vs Preserves, but I would generally say that if there are stringy bits that may not fit in a spoon it is probably Preserves. In addition to this we also have Marmalade, which is typically citrus fruit cooked down with sugar in bits of its own peel (citrus peel contains its own pectin), I think the UK also has Marmalade which is similar Another spread we have is fruit butters, most common is apple butter, but there are others, pear butter, pumpkin butter, etc. This is a cooked down spread made from fruit, sugar and spices, often including cinnamon, but unlike the others it contains added no pectin, Apple butter is a bit like cooked down thicker, sweeter version of Apple Sauce

2025-01-28 03:17:39 +0000 UTCJim Morrison, the band's lead singer was the epitome of the old saying "live fast, die young, and leave a good-looking corpse". He died at age 27. Millie's confusion of the video images is understandable. Other commenters will correct me if I'm wrong but, I think that the video footage was a two finger salute to the police and other campions of rules and laws who abuse their power. At the 1967 concert as Jim Morrison was getting ready, in his dressing room the police sprayed the singer with mace (a chemical eye irritant), because he got into and argument with them. He washed out his eyes and went on stage and started singing about the police: "A little blue man in a little blue hat..." and the police arrested him onstage for... (wait for it) "inciting a riot."
