2023-07-27 23:51:22 +0000 UTCMy Great Geandmothers ICE TEA(Sweet Tea) Recipe. FIRST................In a 2 qt pan put 1/2 gallon of Water, 6 tea bags (Lipton or Charleston Tea Plantation)....... ADD- 2 Cups.... yes CUPS of sugar................. THEN- Turn on the stove/range...... THIS- allows the Sugar on the bottom of the pan to add a Carmel flavor to the tea. Bring to a boil an allow to sit for 1 HOUR....... FILL- a one Gallon pitcher with 1/2Gallon of Ice................... REMOVE-tea bags and pour into pitcher of ice. In the Summer we add 1/2 of Lemon sliced in the Pitcher............. Rick, Charleston SC
