Though Platy was bested by the ultimate bean technique, she took the loss gracefully. 

Despite being blown away, she bounced back into the ring, looking relatively unscathed.

“To be able to repel solmization magic... Your passion for beans is truly something. It’s become a force that could change the world.”

“It’s all thanks to the beans! Beans are the answer to everything!!!”

The two share a firm handshake after this odd exchange, a testament to the bond forged through their intense fight.

Soon, others step into the ring.

It’s Mrs. Astres and Aileron who were defeated earlier.

“She emerged victorious, pushing past us formidable foes.”

“Considering the harsh stipulations of this match – where the loser has to unmask – we should honor those terms too.”

Oh, right.

The stipulation for today’s event was a Mask-Ripping Deathmatch.

Platy, Mrs. Astres, and even Aileron currently wore masks in the ring.

If Letasreit defeated them, then...

Oh?!

All three of them quickly take off their masks!

What a bold move to reveal themselves!

Faces once covered by cloth are now exposed for all to see.

“Ah! That face... Isn’t that Demon Queen Astres?!”

“I recognize that face, too, since she was a former Heavenly One!”

Mrs. Astres, being the queen, was immediately recognized for her high profile.

“And that beauty has to be Princess Platy of the Mermaid Kingdom! To think such big names were competing!”

“And the elf is definitely an elf!”

The audience sure is observant, aren’t they?

I thought that rumors about someone’s looks would spread more slowly in a world without photographs or the internet. Seems I underestimated them.

The entire hall is already abuzz with whispers about the unexpected identities of the masked women.

“We were thoroughly defeated. I could have never imagined this outcome when you first arrived at the farm.”

“It was my days there that made me this strong. Cultivating beans, connecting with them, and learning from them...”

I thought it was about bonding and learning with us? 

Well, if Letasreit’s happy with that narrative, I guess it’s alright.

“Seeing your growth makes me proud. I’m glad my tough love paid off...!”

“A wife from hell...!”

There was a time when the two couldn’t stand each other, but deep down, they cared all along.

Overwhelmed by emotion, they hug each other tightly in the middle of the ring.

“Bravoooo! You’ve grown! Grown sooooo muchhhhhhhhh!”

“Big shish Pwaatyyyyyyyyy!!!”

A seemingly touching scene.

Thus, the crisis that befell Letasreit... or should we say the Mask-Ripping Deathmatch ended without a hitch?

It seemed preposterous at first, having all the other wrestlers challenge just one - Letasreit. 

But she managed to pull through after all.

Now, how is Letasreit holding up?!

“Phew, okay, enough crying. All that sobbing got my mask soaking wet inside!”

“Letasreit, use this towel to wipe your face.”

“Thanks, Horkosfon! Always so considerate. As expected of a top-tier manager!”

Since when was Horkosfon a manager?

Her actions sure fit the role, though.

“Ah, that feels so refreshing. Nothing beats wiping your face with a steamy towel.”

“If so, why not remove your mask and feel the towel directly on your skin? It’ll feel even better!”

“You’re right! Off with this mask... Ahh, the direct touch of the towel is heavenly!”

Letasreit is behaving like some drunk old man in a bar.

However, removing the mask meant revealing her face, and the once mysterious masked wrestler, Miss Bean Crush, was now fully exposed as Letasreit.

“Ah.”

“Ah.”

“AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!”

Even Horkosfon couldn’t help but scream at this huge blunder.

What were these idiots thinking?

The audience has seen Letasreit’s face, and many recognize her as the former princess of the Human Kingdom. This is disastrous!

“Is that Princess Letasreit?! Wasn’t she supposed to be dead?!”

“She was supposed to have been executed along with the king after the fall of the Human Kingdom!”

“She was Miss Bean Crush all along?!”

They’re laying it on thick with the exposition...! 

In any case, the secret’s out, and it’s spreading faster than wildfire.

Meanwhile, Letasreit and the others are panicking...

“Awawawa...! What do we do?! How can we...?”

“I will use my mana cannon and eliminate all witnesses! Then, I’m prepared to take full responsibility and commit seppuku...!”

Amidst the spiraling chaos, a commanding voice rises.

“SILENCE!!!”

At his booming voice, everyone falls quiet.

It’s the Demon King!!!

That’s the Demon King for you! His charisma commands the respect and attention of all!

As the Demon Kingdom’s king who was undoubtedly involved in Letasreit’s fate, all eyes are on him.

“The Demon King...?!”

“Why is he here...?!”

“Maybe because the Demon Queen is in the ring...?”

Apparently, the masses have no problem recognizing the Demon King. 

They sure are well-informed.

Gathering all the attention, the Demon King begins to speak gravely.

“As many of you have surmised, she is indeed Princess Letasreit. While we publicly declared her execution, we kept her alive in secret.”

With the top demon vouching for it, there’s no room for doubt. 

The audience is hanging on his every word.

“I believe that both demons and humans should be treated as equals. While it is natural for wars to have victors and vanquished, it’s unreasonable to expect the defeated to serve the victors indefinitely. Thus, I aspire to one day restore the rights and pride of the human race and to resurrect their nation.”

Wh-Whaaaat?!

He had such intentions?!

“As such, I secretly sheltered and protected the royal family of the old Human Kingdom. It wasn’t out of favoritism towards the royalty. Rather, I believed that if the royal house, which once stood at the zenith of the human race and was in conflict with the demon race, sought reconciliation with us, then surely the entirety of both the Demon and Human Kingdoms could join hands in harmony.”

If they were to rebuild the Human Kingdom only for it to fall back into a state of war, it would be pointless, wouldn’t it?

What the demon race truly seeks is a neighbor with whom they can join hands in peace.

Did he use Letasreit’s existence to confirm if such a thing was possible?

Is that the Demon King’s game?

“Princess Letasreit has now come to serve our society and bridge the gap between the humans and the demons. She has proven herself trustworthy. Thus, I hereby declare the restoration of the Human Kingdom, returning the sovereignty to the human race!”

Ohhh!!!

Did he seriously just drop that bombshell on the audience?!

With that revelation, did the chaos about Letasreit’s true identity just get swiftly swept under the rug?

Man, the Demon King’s got some serious skills at winning hearts and minds.

“Understand, this has been in consideration for quite some time. The Human Kingdom, independently run by its own people, would lessen the burden on the demon race. The cessation of the prolonged war alone is a significant relief to the Demon Kingdom.”

It seems the Demon King is sharing some rather harsh truths with us.

Does that mean Letasreit can finally reclaim her royal status, leading the Human Kingdom to its resurgence and ultimately bringing peace to the world?

“Wait a moment!”

Yet, to my surprise, Letasreit herself, up on that ring, interrupted that course.

“If it had been me from a few years ago, I would have eagerly agreed to that proposition. But my perspective has changed now...! It was the royal family’s arrogance that led to the downfall of our kingdom... I’d be too ashamed to stand at the top again after what we’ve done!”

Letasreit is actually making sense.

Is this a part of her growth?!

Seeing this side of her brings tears to my eyes, overwhelmed by emotion!!!

“Above all, I now have a mission: to nurture and spread the knowledge of beans throughout the world! I can’t be bothered with royal duties because of that!!!”

So that was her heart’s desire all along...

“If I were to rebuild the Human Kingdom, I think it should be in a new form, a nation that can function without a king! ...Yes, let’s establish the Human Republic!”

The Human Republic?!

“The Human Bean Republic!”

Don’t add a word.

A sudden new vision for the Human Kingdom emerges, and the story expands.

At first, it seemed merely a global crisis – Letasreit’s potential doxing in a Mask-Ripping Deathmatch.

But when all was said and done, and her identity got exposed, the plot took a twist, and things were wrapped up neatly.

It’s all thanks to the Demon King.

Truly, such benevolent rulers are leagues above the rest.

Thus, the autumn wrestling event concluded with resounding success.
