#788 The Masked Princess Takes Off

Autumn deepens.

The foliage changes color, transforming from green to golden hues, and someone finds this transformation incredibly exhilarating.

Who might that be?

It’s Letasreit.

Suddenly, she’s sparring with a group of orcs in the corner of the farm.

“Come at me from anywhere you like!”

Surrounding Letasreit, several orcs have taken positions, forming a circle around her.

From a certain perspective, the scene might look like she’s moments away from a serious onslaught.

But such a situation would never happen on this farm.

“Nuoooooah!!!”

One of the orcs lunges at Letasreit.

She presents her right arm, which he grasps, initiating a simple test of strength.

“Oryaaaaaaah!”

Another orc joins?!

This second one grapples her left arm.

She’s now fending off two orcs at once, one with each arm?!

“Grrrrr!”

“Nggggggggrh!”

Yet, she doesn’t budge an inch on either side.

Both orcs try their best to overpower her with both hands but to no avail.

Simply put, Letasreit’s single arm is overpowering the full strength of an orc.

“What’s the matter? Give it all you’ve got!!!”

The orcs seem frustrated, not knowing how to respond to her taunt.

More orcs jump in, hoping their combined strength might change the outcome.

One, two, three, four, five, six...they all charge together.

But Letasreit is essentially pinned down between the first two orcs.

Her hands are occupied.

How is she supposed to fend off this many?!

“Haiyah!”

“WHOAAAAA!”

To my surprise, Letasreit actually lifted both orcs with just one hand, swinging them around as if they were some sort of blunt weapon!

“Ugh!”

“Oobh!”

Then, she uses the two orcs to knock away the incoming orc wave.

She’s using her opponents as weapons to beat up the others?!

After her rampage using “orc dual-wielding style,” the scene is littered with fallen orcs.

“That’s it for today’s training!!!”

It’s frightening just to watch.

This isn’t your average killer fist training.

Everyone now knows about Letasreit’s herculean strength, but how did she become this strong?

She wasn’t always like this.

Letasreit was once a princess of a fallen kingdom.

She was supposed to be executed for her lineage but was taken in by our farm instead.

Back then, she was the epitome of a spoiled brat. But now, she’s transformed into this raw powerhouse.

Our orcs aren’t ordinary, either. Each has mutated and possesses the strength to decimate an army. Yet, several of these orcs were easily overpowered by Letasreit.

“Thanks for the workout! It was a good warm-up!!!”

“Oh, um... don’t mention it...!”

The orcs were swiftly knocked down, but they didn’t seem too damaged and quickly got back to their feet.

Well, they did mention training...

I’d really prefer they didn’t go all out trying to kill each other, though.

But the fact that a single woman effortlessly bested them was hard to swallow. You can hear them mutter, “Couldn’t win again today…!”

“After training, it’s time to refuel!!!” she says and starts chugging something.

It seems she had that bottle ready in advance.

...

What’s she drinking?

Protein shake?

“Ah, soy milk. Impressive.”

An explanatory comment came out of nowhere.

Who said that?

Ah, it’s Horkosfon.

She’s the natto expert angel who often hangs out with Letasreit.

“It’s said that soy milk helps regulate digestive function, enhances skin tone, and has rejuvenating effects.”

“Um… Horkosfon? Who are you explaining that to...?!”

“In addition to that, there’s super-sized tofu, tofu dregs, and roasted beans. All instant soy goodness. And don’t forget the natto, it balances it all. To be able to consume that much just before lunch is nothing short of superhuman bean love.”

Who in the world is Horkosfon speaking in such an explanatory manner to?

Huh? Is she just mumbling to herself?

“Great! Another solid training session today! Everything’s going smoothly for the big day!!!”

“You’re on a roll, Letasreit.”

The two of them exchange words as if they’re seasoned athletes. Yet, I struggle to grasp even the slightest bit of their conversation.

What on earth are they up to?

“Don’t you get it, Saint? A massive event is right around the corner!!!”

“There’s a major pro wrestling event coming up. Letasreit has been invited to participate, and she’s preparing for it.”

Ah.

The one organized by the S-class adventurer Pink Tonton.

I remember Pink Tonton, a powerhouse even among humans, launched this initiative. The goal was to promote the former Human Kingdom, bridge the historical enmity between humans and demons, and provide new job opportunities for adventurers.

That’s how pro wrestling was born.

A mix of theatrics and genuine combat, aiming to excite audiences and create a buzz – all while making money.

Letasreit, the person before me, was roped in due to her incredible strength and now competes as a female wrestler.

“Autumn is the season when harvest wraps up. There’s ample time and money. And many festivals to celebrate a successful year in farming.”

“It’s a golden opportunity for showrunners like us!!!”

It makes sense to schedule a major event during this season, huh?

Is Pink Tonton’s wrestling venture gaining traction, I wonder.

There were matches held throughout spring and summer, and Letasreit occasionally took time off from the farm for them.

With Letasreit’s strength, no group of ruffian adventurers-turned-wrestlers can ever hope to take the championship belt from her.

And so, she’s long been reigning atop Pink Tonton’s female wrestling faction.

“I’ll snatch the victory again and set the ring ablaze with excitement!”

“I’ll give my all as your assistant.”

Letasreit and Horkosfon are a tight-knit duo, as always.

It makes sense why she was training in full combat mode against the orcs, even in broad daylight.

Still, I can’t shake off my unease about Letasreit making public appearances.

After all, she’s technically considered deceased.

The lengthy Human-Demon War ended only a few years ago when the Demon King’s Army overthrew the Human Kingdom.

The human royal family was captured and, as per war customs, supposed to be executed.

However, the compassionate Demon King spared them, making it appear they were executed but secretly allowing them to live.

Letasreit, the princess of the Human Kingdom, was entrusted to my farm.

My farm is hidden from the world’s view, so it’s an ideal place to lay low.

Her identity needs to remain concealed.

If discovered alive, it’d endanger her and tarnish the Demon King’s reputation.

It’s crucial she stays incognito...!

“Don’t worry! I have this!!!” says Letasreit, unveiling... a piece of cloth.

She wears it over her head.

“Now I’m not the stunning princess Letasreit but the mysterious masked beauty wrestler, Miss Bean Crush!!!”

That’s right, given her situation, Letasreit fights under a mask to hide her identity.

Masked wrestlers are common, so it’s not odd...

But I’m still worried.

Can a simple mask truly keep her identity safe?

As I was lost in these thoughts…

Sure enough, whispers started.

Rumors swirling around the true identity of the mysterious masked wrestler, Miss Bean Crush...
