Hi from St. Charles, Eric!

Michael Gehrman

I was born in Ohio and raised outside of Chicago in St. Charles, IL. When I was in high school, we relocated to Mississippi. I graduated high school and college in Mississippi but later served in the Military and lived in Texas, Connecticut and Arkansas. I returned to Mississippi after each temporary move. I married a 'Mississippi Girl' and all my children were born here. Even though Mississippi is extremely poor, doesn't have the greatest infrastructure, and has a very disturbing past, it does have its charm. The people are very kind and hospitable. It definitely has its share of bad/evil people, but I have experienced those people all over this country, it isn't unique to Mississippi. The weather is nice except the grueling heat in July and August and there is so much potential for growth and building on the natural beauty of its geographic location.

I love the Gulf Coast I went to the University of West Florida in Pensacola. The Sugar White Sand squeaks when you walk on it. They call that are the "Emerald Coast" because the water is turquoise in color and so clear you can see the bottom in 20 foot of water. Rick Charleston SC
