#726 Crafting One’s Beloved Model

Thus, I’m making my own figurine for the tournament.

My very own model!!!

Let’s start with selecting the kit that will serve as the base.

Here are the types of God Figurines currently on the market.

Underworld God Hades.

Sea God Poseidon.

War God Velesares.

Crafting God Hephaestus.

Etc.

I’d like to choose Hephaestus, whom I’ve been indebted to, but I chose someone else.

Well, being able to use the figurine of Velesares specifically is a producer’s privilege...

They’re sold randomly, so if you’re unlucky, you might end up buying dozens of items just to get the one you want.

No wonder the Hades figurine, which tends to be duplicated, is the mainstream for modifications. 

I can only thank the customers who bought so many.

Anyway, let’s start modifying our Velesares.

Filling in the gaps in the joints with putty, inking the edges to create a three-dimensional effect...

...Though I suppose there’s no point in doing that with a completed figure.

What’s challenging is modifying it to make the joints move.

For your figurine to compete in the tournament, it's crucial that its limbs move freely. So, making necessary alterations, such as enhancing joint flexibility and incorporating magic stones, is a must.

The method is already widely circulated among fans, but it’s pretty hard for me, a beginner who just jumped in. 

Aren’t there any DIY videos somewhere...?!

But I managed somehow...!

I made the elbows, knees, shoulders, and hips move freely.

Oh, nice, now I can make it strike such poses...!

“Sheeh!”

“What’s that pose, Lord Saint?”

That’s enough checking for now. Next, I’ll start modifying it into my own original model!

Painting colors.

Applying putty.

Sanding with a file.

By the way, I borrowed the tools from the elves.

When it comes to those skilled girls, they typically have all those kinds of tools.

But because of that, they also got to know about this project...

“We can’t miss out on such an exciting project!”

“We have to make the most invincible figurine ever!”

“The dwarves will definitely get involved! We have to make a thorough one so we don’t lose to them!”

It seems that a woman like Platy does not understand the romanticism of men put into this modified figurine.

Not just Norito, who’s still a baby, but even Junior is not allowed to touch it...?!

But I think Junior would appreciate its value...!
