Kakashi is no longer moving.
He broke.
After all, he’s made of scrap materials I gathered nearby, so, naturally, he wasn't durable enough.
And yet, he kept jumping around, loosening the ivy that made up his body, eventually damaging his wooden parts.
Now, he’s just a pile of scrap that looks nothing like a human.
Platy, Veil, Orkubo, Gobukichi, and the rest were all lamenting over Kakashi’s remains.
He was no more than a scarecrow, still, he was a dear friend to all of us.

After reassembling him with new ivy, Kakashi is back to normal.
He looks as good as new, skipping all over the place again.
“HURRAY!!!”
Everyone was overjoyed with Kakashi’s recovery, the hero who chases away birds, our field’s worst enemy.
