Style Testing: Cum splurts
Added 2025-05-13 19:39:44 +0000 UTCsince my style is rather painterly in the aspect of little to no lineart / line weight usage, i attempted to do a quick self study test of not only adding an outline of various weight to the separated material of the splurts, but also to adding more volume to the entrypoint as well (however, i did not design the full pelvic regions around the subject matter of the splurt as i wanted to spend a majority of my time on the splurt itself and not the supporting elements around it at this time)
Left image: no lines/outlines
Left side of Right image: slightly thicker lines outlining the material only when separated from the body, then lowered opacity
Right side of right image: much thicker outlines on separated material connecting down to the closest point of contact of the material touching the subject it's ejecting from with a bigger emphasis on line weight (thicker lines on collected material and thinner lines on thinner / stretched out and connecting material)
I liked the little self practice so I'll likely be looking to add more weight like such in various capacity in future illustrations
