A collection of FAQ's that I have collected via the FAQ channel on the Discord server and more! Please read this FAQ to see if your question can be answered before DM if you'd like! If you're confused on anything still, please feel free to comment or DM! I will be updating this FAQ as time goes on if I need to add more information!

*~ Q: I am not automatically in the Patreon Discord Server
 

Patreon has teamed up with Discord that utilizes a Patreon bot to automatically assign roles and permissions to your Discord account. You will need to connect your Discord account to your Patreon account by going to: My Profile Settings >  Apps > Connect Discord Account.

You will need to sign into your Discord account through the Patreon connection. After which, you will be automatically added into the server with your Tier's permissions! If you are still not added into the server, you may need to log out of your Discord account on your device(s) and re-log back in.

*~ Q: How and When do I get my rewards?  

Patreon processing fees are every month, the first 5 days (1-5). You will receive a Patreon Inbox message for your tier rewards on the 6th / 7th!

You will be sent a Patreon message in your inbox containing the link(s) to all your rewards for your applied tier in order to join/download.   Example: Signed up for Patreon May 3rd > Your payment processes for May Rewards on June 1 - June 5. You will be DM'ed June 6 / June 7 with links to download your appropriate rewards for your tier.

* Q: I joined x Tier on the 1st of the month. Why was I not charged? Can I still get the rewards?

Patreon begins their processing period on the 1st of every month. The cut off to make your adjustments is the Last Day of every month. If you have not been charged, you will not be receiving those rewards when they are sent out. If you would still like those rewards, you are encouraged to check the Patreon Archive on Gumroad. 

I DO have "Charge Upfront" enabled.

Patreon cut off time to account for the previous month's content, is the last day of the month. Meaning that if you wait until the 1st to change/join tiers, you will not get that month's rewards. The deadline for adjusting and joining tiers is the last day of every month before you are charged on the first.



*~ Q: My payment didn't go through, do I miss the rewards?

If you had a payment error, you may still have time to fix this within the payment processing time!

Every month through the first five days, Patreon begins collecting payments. After which it will go back and retry once it has notified you, within the first five days of the month. If you update your payment information within that time-frame (the first five days of the month), you will still receive your rewards after Patreon re-processes your charge with the correct payment settings. Rewards are sent out to processed patrons on the 6th and 7th of every month.



*~ Q: Will I be charged for each illustration as you're able to do more art within the month?

You will not be charged more than what the tier you're signed up for.

This will remain so regardless of 1 illustration, or 6!  $10 for Peach tree tier for 6 illustrations? Still $10 a month :)  This is the same for each tier.  This means that the more funding goals we reach, the more art you receive for less! You will not be charged per illustration on Patreon, but this is opposite on the Gumroad archive, so as that others can get their specific characters they want without stuff they may not want! 

*~ Q: What's the difference between the content on Gumroad or Patreon?

Packs of content are split up on Gumroad.

If you don't wanna be a patron, that's alright! However, per illustration cost, you'll be spending more per illustration than on Patreon. Instead of the full pack, for example, for 2, 3 or 4 illustrations for the ONE charge on Patreon, the illustrations are split up on Gumroad meaning that for the same content, you'll be charged for each illustration you want content of.

This can double, triple, or quadruple even, your full pack if you were to want the same content put out every month on Patreon.

 *~ Q: When do I know the Streams for my Tier happen?

I announce in tier specific announcement channels in Discord when that month's stream dates are. I try to do general public open discord streams so anyone can join a few times a month, but they're completely random and I generally do not announce them. If you would like me to start announcing these random open streams, please let me know!

 

*~ Q: What software/tools does Momo use?

As of 2020:
- Photoshop (for illustrating)
- Clip Studio Paint (sketching/ thumbnail planning)
- OBS to record
- Davinci Resolve 16 to edit videos

*~ Q: Can I still get previous months rewards?

Past Patreon packs (at Peach Tier level) are archived on my Gumroad!
I do not upload Patron specific content to Patreon itself because of their inability to stop stolen content directly from their site. You will not find your tiers rewards posted directly to Patreon for this reason.


 

*~ Q: Will I be removed from the Patron Discord Server if I cancel my payments? 

Yes.

Every 6th / 7th day of the month, I will be removing anyone through the discord that does not have a tier role to their name/ unprocessed payments. This allows me to make sure that content freely posted and shared is not dispersed elsewhere. If you decide to resubscribe at a later date, the Patreon bot will re-add you via Patreon and give you your tier role and permissions.

 

*~ Q: I've received a link to download my reward(s), but it does not work for me now?

Please message Momobeda through Patreon immediately if you have any issues with downloading rewards. 

Your link sent to you is single use and specific to you. They are also expired when the new rewards are posted. If it was a Gumroad link sent to you (Peach, Blossom, Sparkle and Happy Noodle Tiers), you do not need to fully download each reward and file, especially if you are tight on space! You just need to claim it and it will send the link of your claimed library to a listed email address / your Gumroad account. I am not responsible if you lose your link. When the new month's rewards are processed and uploaded, old discount codes are deleted.

If this is for a MediaFire link ( Sprout, Blossom, Sparkle and Happy Noodle Tiers), you will need to download the files as they are deleted with new rewards posted.



* Q: I feel like it's not too active on Patreon.

The Patreon Discord is where we host pretty much all of our chatting, art sharing, and memes, as well as events. Outside of Tier Specific Stream Dates (Peach and Blossom Tiers have their own announcement channels to announce streaming dates for the month and to be notified of them) , open general discussion is for everyone! We host movie night/days on average about once or twice a month through the voice channels, stream and play games (typically emulators on the PC), as well as just random work-day streams held in the open channels. Occasionally, I join the open VC's myself just to sit sometimes. These random events are typically not announced prior or for outside of the General Chat. If you would like to be notified however, please let me know in the general chat if this is something I should do more often!

You are more than welcome to join these open streams and chat yourself, stay muted and use the Voice Chat Text channel to type and stay involved within your own comfort, or even deafen yourself and watch while you do your own things!

I am based in the Eastern USA, and I get up and start work pretty early generally (typically around 5-6am - 2-3pm with general open streams either within that timeframe or even later in the evening for me). You may also be missing these moments due to your timezone. Please let me know if this is a reason as I do try to schedule things to give everyone the opportunity to involve themselves if they so wish!
