Q&As and Some Further Essays

Attached here are the Q&As for the summer. The August one is primarily about the website going down, and why going forward, the rewards will be on Patreon (and in an archive) rather than on rewards pages as it had been in the past. Those points are related - the site going down is tied to that.

Also put together two more audio essays; like the last they clock in a little over a thousand words, that seems like a good sweet spot.

As I mention in the July Q&A, I have a new graphics card on the way, which will hopefully allow for better videos and let me get back to working on games.

Ok, I probably didn't word my question properly, so I thought I'd add some clarification. I wasn't asking about your scoring system, though I understand why you suspected sarcasm, you have indeed explained that many times. What I was talking about was the episode number that appears on the title card at the beginning. Encounter at Farpoint being described at episode 101. Now I get that, season 1 episode 1. Your revised Caretaker review calls it 101, again that makes sense, however I recall older versions referred to it as 801 (I think) as for some time you were referring to Voyager season 1 as TNG season 8. But Endgame is numbered 971? Where did that come from? Your latest Enterprise review, Shockwave, numbers it 128- which I would assume is season 1 episode 28 but is rather season 2 episode 1, or episode 27 of Enterprise overall. The next episode, Carbon Creek, is numbered 127? All Good Things is episode 277? I'm likely overthinking this, but I get weirdly obsessed when it looks like there might be a system going on but I cannot for the life of me work it out

I would dispute "Democritus was wrong that atoms can't be split." I think it's more accurate to say that he was using the term atom to refer to what we today would call subatomic particles.
