Ask Me Anything!
Added 2025-10-13 17:00:13 +0000 UTCAs I'm sure you all know, I've been celebrating the end of Book Four with a series of (hopefully) fun and silly posts. Now that we're finished voting on the special, Patron-Only chapters I'll be writing the next two weeks, I wanted to keep the fun going with some Q&A's!
First and foremost, myself! I know, how egotistical of me. However, it's been over a year since I last ran a Q&A focused on myself, and that was before Book Two was even finished. Since Book Four marked the end of Act One, and all the characters have emerged happy and victorious in the narrative, I figured this would be the perfect time to jump back in.
Just like last time, I have one simple rule:
No Spoilers! I won't be sharing any information about future plot points or storylines. I might drop hints if I'm feeling spicy, but that's it. This mostly applies to my current projects, however. If you're curious about what other Books I might have planned, there's a good chance I'll be a bit more open.
Ask away!

For the most part, I'd say all of my characters have stuck pretty true to their initial intended personalities. I wanted Amara to be emotional, quick to act, and sometimes a little blind to the subtleties in other people's actions. I wanted Vee to wrestle with her faith, and the implications of seeing facts in the world that contradict things she'd been told by the Church. Chloé was supposed to be shy, nerdy, but a little over-excited when it comes to her passions. Tessa was supposed to be vulgar, horny, and dismissive, attempting to use her tough exterior to shield herself from emotional attachments. The only time I really felt like a character caught me off guard was during Book Three. In that Book, Tessa goes through a period of doubt about Amara after seeing the effects of how deeply she fed during the gangbang in Book Two. Initially, my only plan for her in that book was to slowly open up to Nick about her past and some of her vulnerabilities, but this extra element added more depth to her that i found I really enjoyed. I think it served as an interesting catalyst to get her thinking about her relationship.

2025-10-18 18:54:07 +0000 UTCWhen I first started the series, there was much less happening in the story, and it was significantly easier to find places for sex scenes. When coupled with Amara's double whammy of both losing her virginity and discovering she's a succubus, it made a lot of sense for the early books to feature sex more prominently. In Book Three, I always intended there to be less sex, as it was a major plot point that Amara couldn't feed while trapped with Vee in Purgatory. By the time I got to Book Four, I had so many different plot threads that it suddenly became much harder to find places to put sex scenes. On top of that, it's my opinion than any story going for this long eventually has to weave in more elements than just sex, or the plot risks becoming stale. If I were to continue featuring just as much sex as I did in Book One, I think the story would suffer for it.

2025-10-17 00:58:18 +0000 UTCI am probably going to answer my own question here but the early books seemed to be sex heavy with some boundaries being pushed which has been discussed somewhat in other threads and a little more in depth through DMs. Book 4 seemed to pull back considerably from that narrative...until the.final chapter where we all cheered what has been building for 4 booms now. Was it your intent to have one huge ( probably your longest scene ) sex scene in place of several smaller scenes?

2025-10-13 18:52:13 +0000 UTCI know that you've mentioned you outline everything as part of your writing process, but what do those outlines look like? (How far in depth do you go, what pieces of information do you include, what format do you use, etc.)

2025-10-13 18:03:04 +0000 UTCI love the blood & chlorophyll series. Would you consider writing another similar series?
