A question for you guys regarding credits screens...
Added 2024-12-12 11:29:33 +0000 UTCOk so PhiNick has raised a really good question. When I put you guys in the credits screen, I normally (sort of) randomise the order. The reason I do that is partially because data confidentiallity has been absolutely drilled into me via my career. If I ordered by account age or contribution, I could in theory be giving away information that some of you guys don't want to share.
But I suppose it is 'fairer' to arrange by account age - with older members at the top. Does anyone have any objections to this? If you want your name to remain randomised, just message me privately and I'll make sure I do that. As always, if you want a different name to your patreon username, just let me know too.

If a higher tier can help justify how you balance your time, I would be happy to subscribe to it now. IMO you should not feel obligated to take a leap of faith when it comes to growing your community, online presence, etc. I would be happy to support that already.

I am potentially planning on introducing a higher membership tier in the future but only when I can reduce the hours of my full time job enough to actually commit to spending more time doing stuff for members (more on that in the coming months). If i do that, I'll order by tier first.

Having a consistent order is nice because it makes it easier to get the "I helped" dopamine hit when you see your name on the credits page, so even ordering alphabetically would be great, and I think it may be a good idea to put the ordering method up to a poll between alphabetical and membership age. Alphabetical also preserves the confidentiality
