The news dropped this week that youtube is now starting to monetise shorts and is opening the partner program to the largest number of new channels it has added in a long time.  What does that means for long form content on the platform?  Will the desperation to be like tiktok end youtube as we know it?  Or will the two types of content co-exist happily together?  Only time will tell.
