Our new lil aspiring journalist/author wearing what me and my mom have always called an “author sweater” 😊

Bit of Rowan’s backstory! He grew up in a very small town in Wisconsin, not having many Hard-of-Hearing accessibilities at all until he and his mom moved to Chicago where he attended high school through an ASL program. All that to say I picture he grew up pretty lonely, not a lot of kids (or adults) wanted to try to converse with him once his hearing started deteriorating so he became more introverted and just buried himself in books.

He would read anything and everything, always staying around 2 years more advanced in reading/writing than his school peers. Eventually he became inspired to pursue a career as a writer and graduated college online with a major in journalism and a minor in literature.

TL;DR the boy has all the time for books and their escapism and no time for people and their bullshit.
