More Patchwork character files! Lil artist disclaimer: this is like the loosest canon S&S Dane ever lol Like I can picture S&S happening in Patchwork world but not Patchwork happening in the ultra realistic S&S world if that makes sense? I just wanted to give the boy more screen time okay, there's no bigger shared universe conspiracy behind it all 😂

A BIT ABOUT THEM:

Dane was a troubled youth that couldn’t hold a job for more than a year, enjoyed sleeping around, smoking weed and generally not caring to grow up. He got in a scuffle in the countryside and ended up getting arrested with charges of trespassing and aggravated assault. After getting released from jail he tried to move back in with his roommate who had sold all his shit while he was gone. They got in a huge fight and Dane was beaten and thrown to the curb where Jasper found him and picked him up.

Demir was from a Turkish family that moved to Rhode Island when he was 14. The transition wasn’t easy for him and he lashed out at his parents, eventually dropping out of high school, moving out and racking up charges of vandalism, DUI’s, looting, etc. He ended up working/laying low at a seedy pawn shop, sleeping in the storage room upstairs. He soon caught the attention of Jules who had visited the pawn shop to do some buying/selling scraps and he was offered a job with much cleaner boarding accommodations. Demir accepted and ended up on the Patchwork operating table.

He was originally slated to be a firebreather but due to some failures his mouth and throat were burnt and scarred, making talking almost impossible. Having survived that well though, Jules and Jasper decided to work with what they had and he became the masked magician instead and has been with the circus for 5 years. He hated it there at first but after a year or two got used to his plight and even developed a little crush on Iris (the glowy lady).
