My late fiancé and I read the books before the show took off. So we knew ahead of time what was coming. We pitied everyone who couldn’t wait for this season. Especially me. I’m the sensitive one.

2025-05-26 19:26:01 +0000 UTCYes, yes, yes... it was shocking and I shed tears but, even though Walder Frey was loathsom, he dealt retribution like a BOSS. In retrospect, I can at least respect that. The Starks brought most of their misery upon themselves. I never liked Caitlyn for the way she treated Jon Snow and because she behaved like a loose canon, and I came to not like Rob because he put his random personal feelings above his duty, causing thousands of deaths and misery. I might as well also say, I never forgive Sansa for taking Joffry's side over her family and the misery which precipitated from that... she deserves her misery, and if Bran hadn't been climbing where he'd already been forbade to, he wouldn't have been paralyzed and caused all the misery which followed that. AND I'm not a fan of Ned Stark because of his bad choices and weaknesses which caused his death and all the misery that precipitated from that. Out of all the legitimate Starks, Aria is the only one I give a damn about. And I HATE G.R.R. Martin for not finishing the damned series. I hate myself for starting to read the books before the series was complete.
