2025-05-14 02:29:59 +0000 UTCIt's hard to appreciate the impact of this movie now, but back in the late 90's, this movie was the very first time I saw actual gay relationships depicted on film that weren't charicatures. And the other funny thing is that for movies at the time, this film moved incredibly fast. Nowadays it feels a bit laggy and slow, but I still remember the pace made this movie feel incredibly exciting just from how fast it moved.

2025-05-11 00:53:07 +0000 UTCThe Opposite of Sex is one of my most quoted movies. Having grown up gay in Indiana, it's also a fairly accurate reflection of the area's right leaning political views. Lisa Kudrow's deadpan portrayal of Lucia is one of my favorite performances in film history. I can't wait for the actual Opposite of Sex to be uploaded!
