Episode 6 - Progress Report #12

I've been diligently working on render preparations 😊. Here's the numbers so far:

• Writing: 100%

• Coding: 90%

• Environments: 50%

• New Characters: 7/7

• Background Characters: 6/40

• Renders: 0%

  • Part 1 (9:00pm): 0/720

  • Part 2 (10:00pm): 0/360

  • Part 3 (11:00pm): 0/550

  • Part 4 (12:30am): 0/750

  • Part 5 (2:00am): 0/500

  • Part 6 (3:00am): 0/600

• Music/Sound: 0%

• Testing/Polish: 0%

📆 Release date estimate: June/July 2025

I've finished all the new character models for the interesting ladies you'll get to know 😋. I've also spent a lot of time working on the more technical challenges of creating scenes with a ton of background characters. I'm very happy with the results so far. I managed to create some test renders with 4 main characters in the foreground and 40 (!) background characters, without stretching the render times too much. I still need to fiddle a little bit more with the downscaling of these background characters, but I'm super relieved that what I had in mind for this party is at least possible.

Some difficulties will likely only arise after I start making the actual renders, so I won't delay too much longer and start with that as soon as possible. But before I do that, I first need to finish the main area of the house environment. I'll leave some of the more secluded spots (whatever could happen there I wonder 😁) for later when I actually get to the renders there. Same thing for the background characters. At the beginning of the party, there's not that many people there yet, so I won't need all the models to start out.

If everything goes according to plan, I'll start doing renders next week 🥳.

There will also be a poll for Silver/Gold members up soon. I'll let you decide on an outfit for a returning character (Who might that be?) 🙂.
