Yes watch the 3rd movie. Then Cobra Kai. It's my least favorite of the 3 but I still like it. There are some great things in it though. After that you can watch "The Next Karate Kid" if you want. Mr. Miagi is in that one but not Daniel. It's about him teaching a different student. So far I haven't seen anything from that one in Cobra Kai but I haven't watched the most recent season yet so Idk. Anyway, keep em comin.
