This experience for this woman is unfathomable but somehow Angelina Jolie embodied the anguish a loving mother would go through while living a surreal nightmare. When elite actors bring this natural emotion to the screen, I feel they are fairly compensated in salary in exchange for a piece of their heart.

It is so well directed; the music always gets me, Angelina Jolie's performance is very good, and your honest reaction is beautiful to watch. All artistic liberties with storytelling aside, I found myself emotionally taken by Clint Eastwood's portrayal of this story and the societal realities of the era. I apologize if the subject matter was a bit too much. I promise the next one will be much easier to bear๐๐บ๐

2024-08-21 20:00:56 +0000 UTCOoh I remember watching this randomly when I was in college and it really affecting me and remembering being shocked at the true crime aspect of it in the 3rd act. You'd never guess this is a Clint Eastwood film at first viewing because of the content. He also wrote the music in the film.
