I sketched this a while back but debated ever coloring/posting it cuz it’s kind of a downer haha But I think character lows are just as important as their highs so there's really no need to hide or ignore them.

But also I wanted to take the time to appreciate what awesome readers and patreon fam this comic has. With Kimrick's suicide reveal, I braced for the comment section to be blasted with either trigger warning posts, poking fun at Kimrick (or I, the writer) for being 'edgelords' or basically just not taking the scene seriously and I am SO happy that none of that was the case! I was hoping to treat this as a very serious matter to prove there's more to those under their tough exterior (and Kylee learning that the hard way). So remember if you hit a rough patch in life that EVERYone has hardships, we're all human and once we hit rock bottom the only way to go is up! :)

Rant over. I promise we'll be happier next week! ❤️

I really appreciate the real was of your story and characters. It’s phenomenal. I love them even though they aren’t real life people. And this picture is truly a work of art. It completely portrays the feeling the character is having. Sooo freaking good.

I just love how powerful this image is! Great color palette and shading. The brush strokes, to me, gives off the effect of looking like it's raining which really adds so much more meaning of what Kim is feeling.

I was thinking the same thing! For me I think it's the brush strokes ♥️

Colors make me think of Van Gogh a bit...

It's important to remember that under a hard surface these is often softness and the hard surface is often for protection. I don't know, what Kim experienced...perhaps bad jokes about this topic that made him close up. So it makes me so happy to see, that he opened up to Kylee of all people ;_;
