First the page gets a tiny sketchy thumbnail to get the layout correct, then it gets rough sketches in pencil, then gets finalized in ink and scanned, then gets colored in Photoshop. Depending on the page and the level of color needed (which is typically the longest process), it could take maybe 5-10 hours for each page, start to finish.

Yup! It's the first time I've done this much for a comic but I've gotten the hang of it by now. I know a lot of artists use tablets for their webcomics but for me it just doesn't work unless it's pencils and inks. It just leaves one hell of a sketchbook paper trail!
