Oh, I love this movie!

2024-01-04 23:46:10 +0000 UTCThis movie played on a 24 hour marathon when I was a kid starting at 6pm Christmas Eve. My sister and I, from the ages of 5/6 to 10/11 would leave the TV on in our room all night while we played, colored, had fashion shows, and put on Christmas plays with our stuffed animals. I remember that, with commercials, each playthrough took exactly two hours. We'd use this information to tell us when we could wake our parents. (Or when we'd "stealthily" sneak downstairs to see if Santa came yet.) We'd say, "ok! TWO more times and then it'll be 4am and we'll go look!" Or "ok!! Just three more times and we can wake mommy and daddy up!" My sister has since become overwhelmed by mental illness and she's just not...her...right now, maybe she won't be ever again. So, those childhood memories are very precious to me. Thank you for watching and giving me a reason to think back and smile!
