"Caine in Kung Fu" references to the 1972 TV series "Kung Fu" in which Kwai Chang Caine, a Shaolin monk played by David Carradine, travels through the American Old West, armed only with his spiritual training and his skill in martial arts. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kung_Fu_(1972_TV_series))

I will say this was Travolta's "comeback" film. After his early success with Saturday Night Fever and Grease, he had fallen out of favor in Hollywood as an actor by the late 80s and 90s. It was Tarantino that purposely sought him out for this role and helped resurrect his career.
Jackie Brown is perhaps the best Tarantino film, but Pulp Fiction is definitely neck and neck. I would also recommend (among others) his first full-length feature Reservoir Dogs. Like Pulp Fiction, the cast is A+.

Seen this movie so many times and could hardly wait to watch again with you and see your reactions. Crazy movie. So many classic scenes and lines. Enjoyed it again. "But I'm trying real hard, Ringo, I'm trying real hard to be the shepherd."
